 Hey fellow editors. I will dispense with the formalities and get right to it. Do stuff... learn stuff... and stuff. ;) This page is basically for us, the editors, to post our ideas, get ideas, and find out what's happening on/with CGU. All of the editors are given access to the FTP account so that they may post their ideas, opinions, etc. The only thing I ask of you is that you not remove or edit anyting placed here by me or another editor. Have fun... ;) Place your additions/contributions below this line. If you have a new review/news article to add to the CGU website, place it in the /newfiles directory and place a link to it here... (see i TOLD you that you need to learn html...) with your name next to the file name. Also place your name at the top of the document and name your file (yourname_whatever.***). and if you take credit for someone elses work, I'll kick your ass from here to hell and back.  Uploading your various contributions is not as hard as you may think, and the HTML code required is minimal. First, you must log into the ftp at ftp.fortunecity.com. If you don't have an FTP program, clickhere. You must enter the Username and Password I emailed to you in the appropriate spaces, then connect. Once you are connected, go to the appriate folder on your computer (in the left window of your ftp program) and go to the newfiles/ folder on the ftp (in the right window). Find the apprpriate file in the left window, make sure you've named it yourname_filename.*** and drag it to the right window and release the mouse button. Next, download the latest version of the index.html file from the root directory of the ftp. Go to notepad or whatever text-based HTML editor you use, and open the file. Once you've done this, scroll down to the contributions section (marked by comment tags "!-- comment --") and place a link using the link code provided in the comment tags. Make sure you name the link properly so that I will know who's work it is and will know if I already have it. That's it. If you have any problems, or still don't understand, email me or contact me on ICQ. A word of caution... NEVER upload or change the index.html file without first downloading the new index.html file from the FTP FIRST!!! Even if it doesnt look like its been changed... do it anyway.  contributions start now:
I will be updating the main website less often than i have been due to the volume of material that must be uploaded. I will probably start uploading a few times to once a week, and doing so at night or whenever I decide to sleep, therefor not forcing myself to stare at the cuteftp window or deal with a lagged internet connection. -Daniel Personal comments should be made toward me via ICQ or Email. New articles, reviews, or other work for the CGU website should be uploaded HERE... NOT sent to via ICQ or Email. I repeat... If you have any work for the CGU website, upload and link it HERE and then notify me via ICQ or Email. -Daniel I have sent everyone the Review Criteria which is to be used and followed in the writing of your game reviews. Read it, live by it, treat it like it's the Bible (or whatever religious\meaningfull texts you hold dear). Any reviews that do not follow the criteria will be blatantly rejected and must be re-written. -Daniel I have created a message board to give everyone an easy way to talk to eachother, without dealing with email or trying to catch the other person(s) on ICQ or IRC. Email is still an option though, as is ICQ and IRC. Hallo everyone...at long last, here is my Castlevania review, and dere is my Colony wars one.
